A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. – Lao Tzu

I have an important question for you: How do you see yourself ten years from today? Do you see a person full of energy who has achieved her own goals and is satisfied with her own life? Or do you see a person who has long ago left things to chance and forgotten about her own goals? I know that this second picture doesn’t really excite you, but if you don’t make a good plan today and start putting it into action, this could become your reality.

Motivation is the key to making some true changes. It depends on the goals you want to achieve, the reasons why you want to achieve them, and the way you live. It doesn’t matter what goals you want to achieve, as soon as you start working on one of them, it will affect your whole life.

If you start to exercise, you will have more energy to work on other goals. You will be healthier and happier with yourself, and your motivation will increase significantly. If you find a better job, you will have more energy for other things in life. If you get rid of some bad habits, it will positively affect your whole life and the people around you. Everything is connected.

The things I’ve listed here will help you start working on what really matters to you. All the mentioned materials are completely free. If you use them properly, you will soon have a plan and you will start moving in the direction of your goals.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download my free book Fulfilling Life: A Matter of Personal Choice, available in audio and PDF versions. It lasts for an hour and is full of information and links that you need so you can make a plan and get started

  1. Fill in the “Better Life in 60 Days” tables. They will help you set goals, focus on your own priorities, and more. The tables go along with the book and group challenges, which you can join if you wish.

  2. Download the “My Goals and Obstacles” mind map. It is a visual addition to the tables. They will help you define what you want to accomplish in life and spot things that are holding you back on the path to your goals.

  3. Join the Long-Term Habits Facebook group; this group brings together all those who appreciate personal development, and here you can always look for support if you get stuck somewhere. The “Better Life in 60 Days” challenges are also announced through the group.

  4. Join the challenges that will be posted in the group every 14 days. It’s easier to get started when you’re in a group of like-minded people.

  5. To be able to involve you in the challenges, install the Map my Walk app and add me to your friends list. This application is ideal for all those who want to add a little recreation to their life. With it, you can also create your own challenges and invite the people you want.

  6. Sign up for the “Creative 5” weekly e-mail newsletter – 5 things to help you maintain motivation at a high level. Once a week, receive useful things related to a meaningful and fulfilled life via e-mail (you can unsubscribe at any time).

  7. Find books and materials related to your goals. If you don’t know what to read, take a look at Great Books for a Great Life – some of the best books I can recommend and which I’ve divided into 6 different areas to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for.

  8. See other published blog posts in the “Articles” section. There you will find answers to some of your questions and a lot of good ideas related to self-improvement.

  9. Think about your goals every day and work on them regularly.

Conclusion:

Statistics are well known; less than 5% of people actually have a plan and are actively working on their life goals. It is up to you to decide whether you want to be in a smaller or in a larger group. If you have opted for a smaller group, I wish you success, and you have my full support through the above options. Start now, and good luck!
